A/N: Something a little bit different. I loved writing this. :) No warnings.
* * *
Well, here we are. Or here I am, I should say, since it’s my hand writing this, and you’re somewhere else. Work, I think. Still. You always seem to be there. My brilliant detective, always solving the cases and not caring about yourself… Sometimes it makes me worry that you’ll burn yourself out, but then you prove me wrong and show me just how well you can relax… Maybe you’ll be okay, after all. Maybe I shouldn’t worry. But then again, you know me - I can’t help it.
Anyway, yes, you’re probably laughing your arse off right now. Magnus Martinsson writing a letter, a love letter, who would have thought? See, this is what you make me do. This is all your fault. Dammit, woman.
Oh, this magnificent tribute to the character of Magnus has me in such a wonderful tizzy! His words (as the author) are laced with quirkiness, sweetness, and beauty, capturing the individual gears that display the manner in which he cares so deeply and presents so uniquely. He professes his text in the fashion that honeys his confessions, then spins them into a jab toward the reader or mention to another character, which is thoroughly enjoyable to the level where you are able to hear his voice while reading. He says the most incorrect things in the most incorrect way, which makes it correct, in a strange sense that could be only Magnus. It is so easy to become lost in the letter as if he truly did comprise it himself, and that shows the magnitude of this author’s grand accomplishment with the fic. Exceptionally done!
How had I not seen this?? Grrrr, tumblr.
Anyway, thank you so much for this wonderful review! I’m so flattered. :)

I must admit, this fic is actually one of my personal favourites, as well as one of the few I can re-read without cringing.
I used to be so creative.
And Magnus: he does seem to say the wrong things very often, but I like the idea that those wrong things can sometimes be right, too. Glad you think so too. :)

I’m really happy you liked the way Magnus writes, because somehow all that came really naturally for me; I didn’t really think, I just…wrote. Somehow I channelled Magnus that day or something.
Again, thank you so much. You’ve made me smile very happily. :)
